Midterm

This week is midterm and we were assigned a self assessment in the form of a google spreadsheet survey. I don't think anyone outside this class should take it, but here is the link anyway. This was like a check up for whether or not we are getting things done. It also had a few questions at the end checking to see if we had certain software and if we were familiar with a APA citing style. There was also one summary question about TPACK. I am doing well in this class. I am having very few difficulties. The only problem I am having (and I know I am telling on myself right now) is that I keep forgetting to add links to my Diigo library! Other than that, I am doing very well. I am learning a lot. The technology classes I was required to take at Marshall were practically useless. They were all things I already knew how to use. I called it the "here is the on button for a computer" class. This class is really different and I like it.

I like the style that this midterm was in. The answers go to a spreadsheet that the teacher can see and it is all organized. This tool would be really helpful for student surveys. This activity fits ISTE NETS T standards three and five. It is digital age learning and it is a way to renew the teaching profession through technology.
