We were to read about the Myers-Brigs Type Indicator personality inventory and predict which personality type we think will describe us.

My predicted 4 letter code is: INFJ

The Keirsey Temperament pegs me a counselor. It says I have an exceptionally strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others, and find great personal fulfillment interacting with people, nurturing their personal development, guiding them to realize their human potential. I would agree with this. I like helping others (hence my job choice of a teacher) and I tend to mother people. I like taking care of people and I like helping them. It also says that I do well in groups but also need quiet time to recharge. This is true. If I am around people all day and don't get a little time to myself, I get easily frustrated and irritable. It says that I like to listen to people and help with their personal problems. I do like to do this with my friends. It goes back to my tendency to mother. It also says that I can be very hard to get to know because I only open up to those close to me. This is really true. People tend to think I'm stuck up or crabby a lot because they don't know that I am shy around people I don't know and just don't talk. It says that I am supposed to be able to read people really well. This I don't know about. If I am close to you, then I can read you pretty well. If I have just met you, though, I don't think I can read you. It says this may result is psychic-like tendencies. I would just like to make a face at that: o.O I don't think so.
