The assignment for this week was to make a voice thread. A voice thread is a place where you can have group conversations in one place without installing software. It is kind of like a power point slideshow, but people can comment on it and others can see those as well. It can hold photos, videos, or documents. You can comment using a phone, a microphone, keyboard, webcam, or audio file. The slideshows are easy to share through a link on the web or it can be embedded or exported as an MP3.
Try Voice Thread!
We were assigned to view two videos about the role of creativity in education and then use voice thread to comment on how we would make a difference in education in response to the videos.

School is boring!
I really liked learning about this website. This will be a great classroom tool. I will be able to pose a question to students and have them respond in many different ways. They can even respond to each other. This could also be used to have students analyze text or photos. I could also see it being used as a review tool.
I believe this fits ISTE NETS T standard number one. Students will be able to use their creativity in how they respond using this technology. They would also be collaborating with each other in making this slideshow in an online environment.
